The team brought back Dontrelle Inman just days after he requested his release from the New England Patriots. As a result, he is pretty much a lock to be part of the team’s 53-man roster this season.
Undrafted out of Virginia in 2011, Inman found a home with the Chargers after a short stint with the Jacksonville Jaguars and two seasons in the Canadian Football League. He played in 41 games for the Chargers and put up solid numbers in 2016, catching 58 passes for 810 yards and four touchdowns.
He was traded to the Chicago Bears the following season.
