When the Chargers take the field today, they will have a very special guest on the sidelines

The team is proud to host Army Ranger, combat veteran, and huge Chargers fan Nick Moore for this Sunday’s game. Moore, who also co-authored his memoir RUN TO THE SOUND OF THE GUNS, served over ten years with the U.S. Army’s 75th Ranger Regiment on the battlefields of Afghanistan and Iraq, and was a part of an elite special operations unit at the fighting edge of the global war on terrorism.

As a helicopter evac pilot, he participated in the rescue of Private Jessica Lynch, hunted Iraq’s Most Wanted, and experienced brutal street combat, including 160 night-time missions over one 90-day deployment in the insurgent stronghold of Mosul.
