The last four Chargers teams to make the playoffs had a 2-3 record five games into those seasons.
The question now is whether this 2-3 Chargers team has enough collective tenacity and accountability and talent to absorb the blows it has taken (and will continue to take) while getting better and climbing out from the hole in which it again finds itself.
