On National Tight Ends Day no less, the Chargers got a pair of touchdown catches from Virgil Green and Donald Parham Jr. on Sunday against the Jaguars. Parham’s was the first touchdown of the day thrown by Justin Herbert and Green’s was the second. Unfortunately, Green came up injured following his successful catch over the top of linebacker Joe Schobert as his ankle bent awry on landing.
Per NFL insider Ian Rapoport, Green could miss a handful of weeks with a lateral ankle sprain and should be a candidate for short-term IR.
