Over the team’s second week of training camp, a number of starters and impact players have been in and out of practice with bumps and scrapes that the coaching staff has chosen to approach with caution. Fellow tackle Rashawn Slater missed at least a day and defensive star Joey Bosa has also been “shaken up” with what was deemed a hand/wrist injury during the team’s joint practice with the Rams.
On Wednesday, the Chargers got a little good news as starting right guard Trey Pipkins returned to practice after missing three sessions with his own injury.
