The 2019 Los Angeles Chargers had one of the worst offensive lines in the National Football League. A big contributor to that was starting tackle Trent Scott. Bolts head coach Anthony Lynn appears to think that he could potentially be of more value if he were to slide inside to play offensive guard rather than tackle. ESPN’s Eric D. Williams reported via Twitter:
Anthony Lynn also did not rule out the possibility of Trent Scott kicking inside to guard next season.

In fairness to Lynn, there is no value to be had in ruling out much of anything about next year when there is still a game left to play this weekend.
