The Miami Dolphins are a downtrodden team with three weeks left in the regular season. At 5-8, they are officially eliminated from the playoffs and changes are looming throughout the organization in January.
But it is not all bad for the Dolphins. Monday’s 31-24 loss to the New York Giants actually helped the team’s draft status for the stretch run.
As pointed out by ESPN NFL Nation columnist Kevin Seifert, Miami moved up four spots in the past week from the No. 12 overall pick to No. 8. This would be a very valuable pick for the Dolphins.
