Manti Te’o recognized the route, read the quarterback’s eyes, stayed where he was supposed to be, leaped and stopped the flight of the ball with his left hand and pulled it in for an interception.
Earlier in Sunday’s second quarter, Denzel Perryman had scraped along the line, shed one blocker and bounced off another as he charged in to stand up the ballcarrier at the line of scrimmage.
