SAN DIEGO -- While most Chargers players took the week off to spend time with family, the team's new tight end, Sean McGrath, spent time at the facility getting familiar with a new playbook.
“It was a blessing in disguise because it gave me a chance to get my nose in the books,” McGrath said. “I really hit it hard while those guys were taking a break. Obviously, I didn’t need much of one since I haven’t been on the field getting banged up like these guys.”
The Chargers signed McGrath after working him out earlier this month, giving San Diego five tight ends currently on the active roster.
