DOWNTOWN SAN DIEGO — Chargers owner Dean Spanos met Thursday morning with top city and county officials to discuss progress on a possible new stadium for the team in San Diego, a spokesman for Mayor Kevin Faulconer said Friday.
The meeting, which Faulconer and County Supervisor Ron Roberts attended, comes two weeks before Faulconer’s stadium advisory group is scheduled to release a much-anticipated financing framework for a new stadium in Mission Valley on the Qualcomm Stadium site.
