Free agent wide receiver Mike Williams is signing a one-year deal worth up to $15 million with the New York Jets, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Tuesday.
The addition of Williams gives the Jets another target for quarterback Aaron Rodgers, paired with No. 1 wide receiver Garrett Wilson.
Williams had been scheduled to make visits with the Carolina Panthers and Pittsburgh Steelers before reaching agreement with the Jets.
The Los Angeles Chargers released Williams last week, saving $20 million against the 2024 salary cap.
