With the drafting of wide receiver Mike Williams out of Clemson with the seventh overall pick of the 2017 NFL Draft, the Los Angeles Chargers have become rather deep at the receiving position. Williams will slot in behind Keenan Allen but likely ahead of the likes of Travis Benjamin, Tyrell Williams, and Dontrelle Inman. This relative glut of talent leaves the Chargers with an opportunity to possibly flip one of their bottom-of-the-depth-chart-but-still-reasonably-valuable players for future value in the form of draft picks or perhaps even a rare player-for-player deal could be had.
