Last week, NFL analyst Kristopher Knox updated his ongoing article at Bleacher Report that lists a player from each of the 32 clubs that they should consider cutting prior to the 2020 season. After Denzel Perryman was used in an older edition of the list, there’s now a new name for the Chargers this time around: tight end Virgil Green.
Green is currently slotted as the team’s backup at the position behind Hunter Henry. He’s more a run-blocker as opposed to a threat in the passing game, but that’s usually what a team wants in backup tight ends.
