Thanks to the Cleveland Cavaliers 93-89 Game 7 victory over the Golden State Warriors in the 2016 NBA Finals, San Diego has become the new city of sports infamy.
Before Sunday, the city of Cleveland's professional sports teams went a combined 147 'seasons' without a championship. With the Cavs securing the NBA Championship, the next city to find themselves in a championship-less drought is... you guessed it: San Diego.
