The Chargers started the process of cutting their roster down to 75 players by clearing up six spots on Monday.
The San Diego Chargers announced today that they, like most of the other teams around the NFL, have begun the process of cutting players from their roster to get to 75 players by tomorrow.
Required to trim the roster to 75 by Tuesday, the San Diego Chargers opted to get a head start on Monday. The team made eight moves, waiving six players, claiming running back Gus Johnson off waivers from Atlanta and placing Chris Watt on Reserve/PUP.
