SAN DIEGO -- A closer look at the positions the San Diego Chargers could target at the NFL combine in Indianapolis:
Positions of need: Certainly the Chargers have to do a better job of protecting Philip Rivers and running the football. However, three physical defenses await San Diego in the AFC West. The Denver Broncos and Kansas City Chiefs finished in the top 10 in points allowed last season, and the Oakland Raiders kept San Diego’s offense in check last year. Matching those talented units will be important if the Chargers want to break through and earn wins against those teams after going winless in the division in 2015.
