The San Diego Chargers already have suffered a blow on their defensive line during training camp after placing Tenny Palepoi on the IR today. He broke his foot during camp and now he will be out for the rest of the season. The team will be looking for someone else to step into the rotation up front.
The team’s depth on the defensive line was already thin and now they have lost a rotational player. This will likely mean more time for some of the young players along the roster. Ryan Carrethers was added last season through the draft and he could be a key player in the rotation for the Chargers this year.
