The San Diego Chargers have started the transition with DJ Fluker to the guard spot. He has been working with the first team at guard for the last week and likely will be the starting right guard going into the first preseason game on Thursday.

We can’t expect the transition to be smooth sailing from the start, but we do expect that Fluker will be able to move some people in the run game. That should be his strength going into the position. That right side of the line should be strong in the run game with Joe Barksdale at the right tackle spot and Fluker kicking over to guard.
