SAN DIEGO – After Saturday’s FanFest, the San Diego Chargers took Sunday off, and will have the team’s first game week of preparation starting Monday for a road contest against the Tennessee Titans in the exhibition opener next week.
Chargers head coach Mike McCoy thought his players did some good things during Saturday’s scrimmage, pointing out how well Philip Rivers spread the ball around to different receivers in his opening series.
Now, McCoy said he’s ready to see San Diego against players in different color jerseys.
“I can’t wait for Saturday night to really see when things are live how our team is going to do,” McCoy said after the scrimmage on Saturday.
