Every single member of the Chargers has been looking forward to today’s opening practice of training camp. It’s their first chance to show the coaching staff the efforts of all their hard work over the offseason and hopefully hit the ground running from the very first day.
One of those players who managed to seize his first opportunity of training camp was rookie cornerback Cam Hart whom the team drafted in the fifth round out of Notre Dame earlier this spring. Hart is a long and lengthy corner at 6’2 and 207 pounds. Safety Derwin James said post-practice that Hart reminds him of a basketball player with the way he looks on the field.
