SAN DIEGO -- Trovon Reed had an opportunity to learn from one of the best in the game this summer as a member of the Seattle Seahawks during the offseason and in training camp.
Reed shadowed Pro Bowl cornerback Richard Sherman, intently watching how he handled his business in practice and picking his brain off the field.
Reed was waived/injured by the Seahawks during final roster cuts in August, so his effort did not result in a spot on Seattle’s active roster.
However, after his injury healed, Reed was added to the San Diego Chargers practice squad in October, and he was signed to the active roster two weeks ago when defensive tackle Brandon Mebane was placed on injured reserve with a torn biceps.
