The Chargers may have just gotten a sizable break before taking the field tonight against the Ravens.
Per NFL insider Adam Schefter, All-Pro linebacker Roquan Smith is unlikely to play against Los Angeles due to a hamstring injury. He entered the weekend with a questionable tag on Baltimore’s final injury report but it looks like things did not progress the way the team hoped.
A long stretch of availability is also coming to an end as Schefter reported that this would be the first game missed by Smith since he was traded from the Bears in the middle of the 2022 season.
