Despite reports on Monday morning that the LA Chargers had officially decided to move on from quarterback Philip Rivers, that picture became more murky as the day went on. After Fox’s Jay Glazer said it was all but over, Marty Caswell of XTRA 1360 in San Diego said those reports were “incorrect.” By Monday afternoon, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport said that the team had made no decisions on Rivers yet and still had to meet to discuss those decisions.
It sounds as though Rapoport doesn’t have any real information on Rivers other than the fact that there is no news.
