The Raiders are officially hiring former Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll to lead their team into a new era. Apparently the influence of minority owner Tom Brady and new general John Spytek was just too much for the 73-year old as he comes out of retirement to coach in what should be the most competitive division in the NFL — maybe even in the history of the league.
All four head coaches — Andy Reid, Jim Harbaugh, Sean Payton, and Carroll — have been to a Super Bowl with three of them actually winning it all.
