The Chargers are officially in the market for a new defensive coordinator as Gus Bradley was just announced as the new DC for the Las Vegas Raiders. This is the second time in the past decade that the Raiders hired away a former Chargers DC, joining John Pagano who was hired by the team following the 2016 season.
Bradley spent the past four season as the defensive coordinator in Los Angeles after being hired in 2017 alongside Anthony Lynn. During the 2020 season, Bradley was forced to use a fairly rag-tag group of players due to constant injuries to top players, including Derwin James, Joey Bosa, Melvin Ingram, and Chris Harris Jr.
