The pressure was on for Chargers wideout Quentin Johnston the moment he was selected as the second wide receiver overall in the 2023 NFL draft. The prior pick of Jaxon Smith-Njigba by the Seahawks started a run of four-straight receivers in the first round. Following Johnston, the Ravens picked Zay Flowers followed by the Vikings picking Jordan Addison.
Fast-forward to now and we know that Johnson was by far the worst of the four taken in that group. His 431 receiving yards were just under 200 yards away from the Smith-Njigba’s 628.
