SAN DIEGO -- Jason Verrett said he doesn’t want to sound like a broken record, but understands the way the San Diego Chargers played the past three games is unacceptable.
"You can’t coach effort -- that’s on all on us as players to give the effort," Verrett said. "There was a lack of effort on my end, and I’m pretty sure my teammates feel the same way.
"It’s going to come down on to us and what we are going to do as a football team, outside of the coaches and just as players.
