SAN DIEGO (AP/CBS 8) — Philip Rivers and the San Diego Chargers have agreed to a four-year contract extension.
During a press conference Monday, August 17, Rivers spoke to the media about his contract extension. He also answered questions about where the Chargers will be playing in the future, specifically if San Diegans were reading too much into Rivers’ previous comments that he wanted to stay in San Diego.
Rivers responded:
"I think you are, but that’s not a question really that I can answer. I think you’re reading too much into it from our standpoint.
