Philip Rivers hasn’t suited up for an NFL game since the 2020 season with the Colts, but the former face of the Chargers franchise is still keeping himself in performing shape while training some of the top quarterback prospects in this year’s draft.
In a recent interview with ESPN’s Kevin Clark, North Carolina’s Drake Maye admitted that him and his fellow trainees are still being taken to school by the elder Rivers. Per Maye, Rivers is still managing to best the group in throwing competitions, specifically one of his favorites from his time with the Bolts: throwing out routes into the net.
