OL Hairston agrees to 2-year deal with Chargers

SAN DIEGO - Versatile offensive lineman Chris Hairston will remain with the San Diego Chargers, agreeing to terms on a two-year deal, a source confirmed. The deal was first reported by The San Diego Union-Tribune.

Hairston, 26, signed a one-year, prove-it deal to play for the Chargers in free agency last season, and outperformed the contract.

The Clemson product played through nagging abdominal and ankle injuries, participating in a total of 739 snaps on offense for the Chargers.
