For years now, the NFL has reduced what celebrations are legally allowed seemingly every season. And perhaps the days of Joe Horn hiding a phone behind the goal post were slightly ridiculous, but football is a game and it is played for the entertainment of its audience. Say what you will about sportsmanship or acting like you’ve been there before, but over the top celebrations are entertaining when they’re carried out by the team you support (or really just any team you do not hate if they are not playing your favored team). So, I will be shocked if the newly announced rules changes are not embraced by most fans.
