SAN DIEGO -- Considered one of the best pass-catchers to play the game since Hall of Famer Jerry Rice, Detroit Lions receiver Calvin Johnson provides a significant challenge for the San Diego Chargers.
At 6-foot-5 and 236 pounds, Johnson earned the nickname Megatron because of is large hands and imposing presence as a receiver. Johnson has the speed and quickness of a smaller pass-catching threat, but the size to box out smaller defenders and high-point the football on deep routes.
