On Monday, Tom Telesco bolstered the Los Angeles Chargers receiving corps by signing wide receiver Nelson Spruce. Since going undrafted in 2016, the 6’1”, 210-pound receiver has bounced from the Los Angeles Rams to the Chicago Bears and the Kansas City Chiefs. He was a practice squad member for the Bears in 2017, but he managed to stick to the Rams’ active roster before ending up on the injured reserve list in 2016. He was only briefly a member of the AFC West rival during the 2018 offseason.
While Spruce has yet to show up on a stat sheet in the NFL, he filled them in college as a member of the University of Colorado.
