Nasir Adderley may be that new safety that the Chargers are looking for. Additionally, he can be an interchangeable piece in Gus Bradley’s defense. Besides, with Nasir’s zone coverage skills, he will be able to play both safety spots without much problem in the Chargers’ defense.
Here’s a scouting report from Joe Marino of The Draft Network.
“Coverage – Extremely comfortable in zone coverage defending both deep and short zones with outstanding route anticipation skills. Wonderful understanding of coverage spacing. Sharply reads the backfield and works into throwing lanes. Did not play much man coverage but traits are present for him to do so and succeed.
