A wise decision would be to use a second-day pick on a Jarrett Stidham, Ryan Finley or Will Grier type -- someone who might not be ready on day one but has traits you could mold. The bold move, though, would be to follow Kansas City's model and take your next quarterback right there on opening night. Drew Lock is a prospect the Chargers could realistically get, probably with a slight move up in the draft order. He's a gunslinger-type who could benefit from a more consistent coaching staff than he had at Missouri.
