If there was any hope of a miracle, of the San Diego Chargers winning their last seven games and finishing with a winning record in a Major League-style comeback to make it into the playoffs and save Mike McCoy's job as the team's head coach.....well, it died yesterday on the field at Qualcomm Stadium with LaDainian Tomlinson watching on.
Mike McCoy will be fired. I can make the case for him to be fired before the end of the season, and I might, but at the very least he won't be around next year.
