It’s a been a decade since the Chargers have had a proven and productive WR1. Keenan Allen was drafted in 2013 and immediately became the best wideout on the team as he set franchise rookie records in both receptions (71) and receiving yards (1,046).
The 2024 season will be the first without Allen on the team. On top of that, the Chargers are also without Mike Williams, his first season elsewhere since being drafted in the first round in 2017, as well.
The last time the Chargers did not have Allen on the team, Malcom Floyd was their leading receiver with 55 catches and 814 yards in 2012.
