SAN DIEGO – With his family at his side and surrounded by his teammates, former San Diego Chargers running back LaDainian Tomlinson had his No. 21 jersey retired at halftime of the team’s game on Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Tomlinson was joined on the stage by wife Torsha Lynn, mother Loreane, son Daylen and daughter Dayah Lynn.
Tomlinson thanked his family, former teammates and the fans for their support during his nine seasons in San Diego, which including eight-straight 1,000-yard rushing seasons and five Pro Bowls.
“When people say ‘LT’, you inspired me,” Tomlinson told the crowd.
