There has been a lot of debate about Tyrod Taylor being the starting quarterback of the LA Chargers and the staff here at Bolt Beat decided to help end that debate and find just where Taylor ranks among his peers.
To do so, six writers on the Bolt Beat staff — Faustino Felix, Devon Auriemma, Tyler Gallagher, Alex Insdorf, Steven Haglund and myself — ranked all 32 starting quarterbacks based on 2020 talent. We took the average position of each quarterback on all six lists to make our composite, 2020 quarterbacks ranking.
This is not a list of “who would you build your franchise around,” it is simply a list of the quarterbacks in 2020 by the pure talent in the 2020 season alone.
