The LA Chargers have been one of the most proactive teams this offseason and it is not hard to see why. After posting a joint-best 12-4 record in the AFC West in 2018, the Chargers dropped the ball in 2019 and only won five games.
It was the largest negative win differential by any team in the league last season and it was bad enough to net the Chargers the sixth overall pick.
Granted, there was a silver lining in all of this, as it put the Chargers in a good position to draft the quarterback of the future in Justin Herbert, something that otherwise would not have been possible if they were a middle of the road team.
