Philip Rivers has started every single game at quarterback (even on a torn ACL) for the LA Chargers since he was given the starting job in 2006. That will be different in 2020, as Rivers and the Bolts have moved on, with Rivers signing a one-year, $25 million contract with the Indianapolis Colts.
This is a new era for Philip Rivers and it is safe to say that most Charger fans are happy and excited for Rivers. I would even go as far as to say that some Charger fans will be subtly rooting for the Colts, as long as it does not affect the Chargers’ playoff race in any way.
