Following the Chargers’ loss to the Texans in this year’s wild card round, veteran edge rusher Khalil Mack was mum on using any “definitive language” in regards to his future plans, whether that be playing in 2025 (and beyond) or retirement.
After taking the past 10 days to mull it over and discuss with his family, NFL insider Adam Schefter reported Wednesday morning that Mack has officially decided to play during the 2025 season. It’s undetermined if that will be with the Chargers or elsewhere as Mack is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent this March.
