Observations from Chargers practice Tuesday, with the reminder that the season is still four months away:
1) Keenan Allen got open fast and snatched passes, seven months after a lacerated kidney ended his season. The 24-year-old looks on the verge of commanding a huge contract.
2) "Keenan Allen is bigger than I realized," said Chargers newcomer Dwight Lowery, a safety in his ninth season.
3) As with Allen, the calendar doesn't apply to Jason Verrett. He was quick and feisty.
4) When Allen pulled down a touchdown pass, who was first to greet him?
