CARSON, Calif. -- Playing a 16-game season for the first time in his five-year NFL career, Los Angeles Chargers receiver Keenan Allen showed the rest of the league what teammates like Philip Rivers already knew.
Allen is one of the best receivers in the NFL.
"You knew if he was out there for all 16, he'd have the chance to have the type of year he had," Rivers said.
Coming off rehab for a torn ACL in his right knee that ended his 2016 campaign after just one half of football, Allen totaled a franchise-record 102 catches for 1,393 receiving yards and six touchdowns in 2017.
