SAN DIEGO – Out to prove that his rookie season in 2013 wasn’t a fluke, San Diego Chargers receiver Keenan Allen started 2015 well, finishing with 15 catches for 166 yards in his team’s 33-28, season-opening win over the Detroit Lions at Qualcomm Stadium.

With 15 catches, Allen tied the franchise record held by Hall of Fame tight end Kellen Winslow set against the Green Bay Packers on Oct.
