How improved do you think the Chargers defense is from this offseason?

The 2019 Los Angeles Chargers (save a late signing and eventual cuts) are now in place. And defensively, they have made some big changes. They were already one of the National Football League’s best units. They ranked 8th in Football Outsiders’ DVOA (7th if you prefer the weighted variety), were 9th in yards allowed per game, and were 8th in points allowed per game.

They made an enormous addition by subtraction move in letting go of safety Jahleel Addae early in the offseason. They added one of the top free safety prospects from the NFL Draft by snagging Nasir Adderley of Delaware in the 2nd round.
