The Chargers announced the hiring of their offensive line and assistant offensive line coaches on Tuesday morning, filling the last few holes left on their coaching staff, on top the commitment to Shane Steichen as the offensive coordinator going forward.
The Chargers signed James Campen to fill the void left by Pat Meyer who took the same position with the Carolina Panthers on Matt Rhule’s staff. They also hired former Chargers coaching intern David Diaz-Infante as their assistant coach who was with the team as an undrafted free agent back in 1987.
Campen comes to the Bolts after spending the 2019 season as the Cleveland Browns’ offensive line/associate head coach underneath Freddie Kitchens.
