SAN DIEGO -- It’s a blessing and a curse.
That’s how Iowa defensive back Desmond King described his ability to play both cornerback and safety, along with contributing on special teams at the next level.
“It’s the same thing that kind of happened to me coming out of high school,” King said. “Coaches didn’t know whether I was going to play running back, safety or corner coming out of high school, and that kind of hurt me in the process as well.
“But I feel like the more versatile you are, the more value you can bring to a team.
