SAN DIEGO (CNS) - Chargers owner Dean Spanos spoke by phone Thursday with San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer and county Supervisor Ron Roberts in what a team spokesman Friday characterized as "cordial" conversations.
Mayoral spokesman Craig Gustafson confirmed Faulconer and Spanos had a five-minute phone call.

"The mayor offered a face-to-face meeting and Mr. Spanos indicated he is still reviewing his options at this time," Gustafson said. "We have a fair plan in San Diego and this is Mr. Spanos' decision to make.
