The Chargers coaching staff struggled with clock management once again, but clutch interceptions by safety Jahleel Addae and cornerback Michael Davis helped spur the Chargers to a 20-17 victory over the Falcons on Sunday afternoon inside SoFi Stadium.
Justin Herbert led the final drive, marching 49 yards in five plays before Michael Badgley kicked a game-winning 43-yard field goal. The rookie completed 36-of-44 passes for 243 yards and two touchdowns with a single interception.
Running back Austin Ekeler finished with a team-high 79 yards on 15 carries while also leading the team with 67 receiving yards on nine receptions.
